Generation of the city è un progetto fotografico di Paolo Grassi sviluppato sul tema del rapporto fra la città e l’uomo. L’uomo come costruttore, generatore della città e nello stesso tempo fruitore. Le immagini sono realizzate con la tecnica fotografica della doppia esposizione. Uno scatto è fatto sulle forme della città mentre il secondo scatto ha per oggetto l’uomo.
Generation of the city is a photographic project by Paolo Grassi developed on the theme of the relationship between the city and man. Man as a builder, creator of the city and at the same time user.
The works that merge the plan of the urban pattern with the actions of the people are made with the double exposure photographic technique. The first photo shot is made on the forms of the city while the second shot is about the man.
