Foto Sardegna.  Un mese per documentare fotograficamente il paesaggio e la vita in Sardegna alla fine degli anni 70 del 900. I murales di Orgosolo, la terra, i paesaggi e le persone. Una serie di negativi bianco e nero esposti nelle più varie condizioni di luce e stampati dopo una “stagionatura” di 40 anni.

Le riprese sono state effettuate tutte con pellicola 400 ISO per ottenere un ammorbidimento delle immagini dato dalla trama della grana e nello stesso tempo per permettere di fotografare nelle più ampie condizioni di illuminazione.

Le pellicole sono state sviluppate subito dopo il rientro dalla Sardegna, ma le immagini non sono mai state stampate su carta, ad esclusione di alcune stampe di prova.

Nel 2016, dopo la messa a punto di una rielaborazione di una tecnica di stampa dei primi del 900, le fotografie sono state stampate personalmente a mano dell’artista su carta in puro cotone con risultati sorprendenti. Le foto sono stampate in edizione limitata.

Photo Sardinia. A month to document the landscape and life in Sardinia at the end of the 70’s of 900. Orgosolo murals, land, landscapes and people. A series of black and white negatives exposed in the most light conditions and printed after a 40-year “maturing”.

The shots were all made with 400 ISO film to get a softening of the images from the grain texture and at the same time to allow you to shoot in the wider lighting conditions.

The films were developed shortly after returning from Sardinia, but the pictures were never printed on paper, except for some prints.

In 2016, after the reworking of a printing technique of the early twentieth century, the photographs were personally handwritten by the artist on pure cotton paper with surprising results. Photos are printed in limited edition.
