LS002- Cinqueterre. Resino-pigmentype

Una parte della ricerca dedicata alle Cinque Terre, realizzata a partire del 2017, è stata selezionata per la rappresentazione mediante stampa in resino-pigmentype. Ricordo da ragazzo, durante le escursioni nelle allora ancora sconosciute Cinque Terre, i contadini che in estate, sotto il sole cocente, con cura maniacale coltivavano le viti e consolidavano i muri a secco, per difendere i loro terreni dagli attacchi delle intemperie invernali.

In quel periodo realizzai solo pochissimi e saltuari scatti in quanto non avevo ancora individuato un processo di stampa che potesse rappresentare la durezza di questi luoghi. I segni lasciati dall’uomo e gli aspetti del crudo ambiente naturale si sono prestati alla stampa a base di pigmento naturale a base di nerofumo.

A part of the research dedicated to the Cinque Terre, realized starting from 2017, has been selected for the representation by printing in resin-pigmentype. I remember as a boy, during the excursions in the then still unknown Cinque Terre, the peasants who in the summer, under the scorching sun, with maniacal care cultivated the vines and consolidated the dry walls, to defend their land from the attacks of winter weather.

At that time I realized only a few and occasional shots because I had not yet identified a printing process that could represent the hardness of these places. The marks left by man and the aspects of the raw natural environment have lent themselves to printing based on natural pigment based on carbon black.
